Mariana started an early career as a singer in the "Medellin schools and music bands network", where she quickly began to stand out, giving her first performances as a soloist in works such
as the "Coronation Mass" and "Requiem" by Mozart, "Requiem "by Cherubini and" Carmina Burana "by Carl Orff.
These roles at such a young age, in 2004 earned her the chance to participate in a meeting of choirs from Andean countries, "Los Andes Cantan" in Caracas, Venezuela, where she had the opportunity to perform, alongside other outstanding young Latin Americans, the Fourth
Movement (coral) of the "9th Symphony" Beethoven under the baton of the maestro Gustavo Dudamel.
Since then Mariana has studied singing intensively as well as making her professional debut
in operetta roles such as The Widow in the "Court of Pharaoh", Coral in the "La Leyenda del Beso" and Rosaura in "Los Gavilanes".
In opera she has played Marcellina in "The Marriage of Figaro", Annina in "La Traviata" and Frasquita in the opera "Carmen".
In 2010 she continued her training at the EAFIT University of Medellín, giving brilliant performances, including 2nd in the International Singing Competition of the same institution in 2012.
At the same time Marian belonged to the choir "Tonos Humanos" under the direction of Master Cecilia Espinosa Choir, until 2013, participating in major music events, including the "LIX International Choir Competition, Arezzo, Italy" as the only representative from Latin America and winning the folklore category.
In 2013-2014 she studied at the "Conservatori Liceu" in Barcelona where she she has played Suor Genovieffa in "Suor Angelica" with the "Companyia d’Òpera del Conservatori del Liceu";
also there, she received master classes with soprano Ana Maria Sanchez and Sondra Radvanovsky to continue growing in her career and highlight the great promise of lyrical Colombian music,
thanks to her fluid and captivating acting ability.
